CASE 11413 RECORD FILE EYES ONLY DATE 11.13 POST-EVENT

PERSONNEL FILE ENCLOSED
DANIELLO, CHARLES RICHARD
SER. 987615132-XQ2
DOB: REDACTED

NOTE: ALL EARLY LIFE RECORDS TRANSCRIBED FROM PAPER AND HARD-COPY FILES; ALL COMPUTERIZED DATA FILES LOST DURING HOSTILITIES.

Charles Daniello was an exemplary student through high school, where he became involved in the Young Marines. He was involved in several sports including football and baseball with dabbling s in wrestling and track as well as intramural participation in marksmanship, archery, and fencing. Daniello received varsity letters in football and baseball and was offered partial scholarships to several colleges and universities, opting to attend North Philadelphia City Collegewhere he split his studies between sociology and education as well as joining the ROTC.
Near the end of his sophomore year, Daniello’s father died of an aneurism, which led to Daniello missing the end of his sophomore year. He returned to school in the fall and attempted to make up for this lost time. It was during this period the first minor Outbreaks were beginning in Africa and southern Europe. Three months into his junior year, Daniello’s mother was injured when she was hit by a drunk driver in a hit-and-run incident. The driver was caught and arrested, the case thrown out on a technicality. Daniello’s mother was confined to a wheelchair with spinal injuries and Tramuatic Brain Injury. Daniello sought out the driver, BENJAMIN TUDESKY, stalked him to a local bar, and beat him into unconsciousness. Tudesky required more than 3 dozen stitches and suffered four cracked ribs, a fractured skull, broken nose, fractured eye socket, concussion, bruised kidney, ruptured spleen, bruised liver, collapsed lung, severe neck sprain, dislocated shoulder, dislocated kneecap, fractured tibia, fractured femur, dislocated hip, seven broken fingers, dislocated jaw, and nine cracked teeth.
Daniello was arrested at his home and plead guilty. The judge who took the case was also the judge on the case involving Daniello’s mother, which raised eyebrows and controversy when Daniello was given a mere 90 days for the assault. During his 90-day sentence Daniello was involved in 64 confrontations with fellow inmates and sixteen involving Corrections Officers. Each confrontation resulted in unconsciousness or injury to Daniello’s opponent.
Upon his release, Daniello attempted to enlist in the Army, Marines, and Navy, rejected each time. He enrolled in classes at his local Community College, working full-time and also caring for his mother, whose condition was deteriorating. She died less than a year after his release from jail. Daniello began seeking out bouncer and bodyguard work, losing several security jobs due to high temper. Six month after his mother passed, Daniello met and became involved in a relationship with MEREDITH FIORELLI, a massage therapist/acupuncturist/yoga instructor. During the course of their relationship, Daniello became involved in meditation and attended group therapy and anger-management classes. Eighteen months after his mother’s death, Daniello successfully enlisted in the U.S. Army. This was also the time when Europe, Asia, and Africa were experiencing their first major Outbreaks and small cases were being reported in the Western United States and Mexico.

Daniello’s initial service records show exemplary marks and comments from Commanders. Unfortunately, his service record disappears as incidents in the U.S. were increasing at this time and all computer archive files were lost. We do know based on hard-copy paper files recovered after the event that he showed some leadership initiative but worked especially well on his own and was already an excellent marksman and archer. He was designated as a sharpshooter and long-range spotter at the beginning of The Breakdown.
During Reclamation, Daniello was one of the first Plebe Initiates into what would become the DeadEye Program.

CASE 11413 RECORD FILE EYES ONLY:
S.N.E.P. BASIC BACKGROUND INFORMATION

SNEP started as a 3-state area comprised of Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts. The Northern Sector of SNEP was the hardest hit in the area because of the metropolis of Boston. Areas closer to the region of Vermont and New Hampshire were not as compromised as the southern area of the same region. Due to the lighter concentration of Outbreak, resilience among the populace was much higher than in more concentrated areas.
As it is already known, Federal Government instituted many procedures and policies during the free-for-all that ensued the initial Mass Outbreak, including licensing and permitting of hunters and professionals to limit the number of people qualified and legally permitted to engage and eliminate the threat. Because of a lighter biohazard concentration, SNEP was selected as one of the first testing grounds of what would become known as the "Dead Eye" Program.
RECAP: The purpose of the Program was to train specialists in quickly and efficiently eliminate any immediate threats with a minimum of danger to the general populace. Since the Creatures can only be eliminated by massive brain trauma, those initiated into the Dead Eye Program were trained like snipers: aim for the head, one shot/one kill. However, their expertise was not to be limited to long-range weaponry. Upon completion of the program, initiates could successfully and unerringly eliminate a bevy of targets with revolvers, automatic and semiautomatic handguns, and rifles. For instance, if the initiate were given a 6-shot revolver, it would result in 6 dead zombies.
The initial class of the Dead Eye Program began with 27 "plebes." By the conclusion of the first class, 8 remained. There were three subsequent Dead Eye classes with a total of 118 plebes. Out of these 118, 22 survived and completed the program. After the Fourth Class, the program was abandoned as less than 25% of initiates successfully completed the program.
NOTED: The first successful initiate of the Dead Eye program was CMDR. CHARLES RICHARD DANIELLO, SER. 987615132-XQ2 LOCATION CURRENTLY UNKNOWN

CONTINUED: The remainder of this report will deal with the events leading up to, during and immediately following the incident inside the S.N.E.P. and the subsequent disappearance of Commander Daniello.

11.11 POST EVENT 15:43EST. This is an initial "heads up" report to advise Command of new events and incidents outside the designated Quarantine Zone along the Gated Border Lands on the Atlantic coastline. The Southern New England Protectorate (henceforth designated SNEP) has been compromised but situation has improved and issues have been, as of this writing, at least temporarily resolved. Be known our forces were NOT, repeat NOT involved in this incident nor were we instrumental in resolving it. This issue was both reported and resolved by local enforcement and licensed professionals within the community, lead by a former Dead Eye reportedly named Brighton "King" Fisher. Mr. Fisher survived the incident thus far and has been reported UNINFECTED at this time. However, we have several units stationed outside the SNEP perimeter and await instruction as to whether we should proceed with precautionary razing and demolition as well as eradication and immolation of biological entities within the SNEP perimeter. SNEP will be under lock-and-key until further orders are received, per the Biohazard And Infected Sub-Creature Act.
